Ogun....I just loved it. I was thinking about what you said about going back and listening to how you responded in the past to some recordings you performed in and how you had to meet the people where they are at. It is my hope at this late hour that scholars will stop speaking to the subjects of 'ill and ignorance' and calling it acting like a 'lil girl'. I am sensitive to this because I am woman and was once a girl. We must find other examples of ill without them being attached to women or girls. This continues to perpetuate miss-information about woman and their gifts to civilization. Overall the broadcast was outstanding and it saddened me to hear you say that ignorance and wrong or error ed thinking is contributed to the qualities of girls/women.
